Over the course of the next few months – from April 6 to September 15, 2015 – the Teleseminar Series will feature the advice of 17 experts with different approaches to offering self-care, support and guidance to caregivers.

The series kicks off today, April 6, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. EDT with my presentation, “Journaling – the Ultimate Self-Care Tool for Caregivers.”

 

I will talk about how journal writing is an essential part of your self-care strategy as a caregiver. When you spend a huge portion of your time and energy caring for the needs of a family member, you often don’t leave much for yourself. And when your own self-care becomes a low priority, you are more susceptible to stress, burnout, depression and other illnesses.

 

I will teach you why journaling is important, how to get started, how to get past common roadblocks and how to have fun with writing. You’ll learn how journal writing helps you release your emotions, build your resilience, solve problems and boost your overall health and happiness.
