I’m not exaggerating when I say that Morning Pages changed my life, and I’m confident that they will change yours, too. Morning Pages started me on my journaling journey 13 years ago, and they continue to help me grow, change and learn every day. I’m happy to report today that I’m starting my 16th straight month of ambidextrous #MorningPages and oh, oh, oh, the places I go! I can say quite confidently that Mari, thy name is creativity.

The idea is profound but simple, inspired by Julia Cameron’s book The Artist’s Way: every morning when you wake up, you write three pages of longhand, stream-of –consciousness journaling before you do anything else.

You make your Morning Pages an essential part of your day, like brushing your teeth or having a cup of coffee, and you create a powerful practice that clears out mental clutter, unblocks your creativity, heightens clarity and helps you discover your best self. And it helps you solve problems, make decisions and take action and….

Creating a Morning Pages practice is a gift that will last a lifetime, and it takes only a journal, a pen and less than 30 minutes each day. The hardest part is getting started.
