Journaling Therapy #78When you start your daily Journaling, after you’ve put down the day’s date, do you address your Journal in a certain way (Dear _____?).  Pass your Journal a note and ask him/her how it wants you to address them.  When you have the answer, begin your journal entries with “Dear ___”. Aahh, the places you’ll start to go and/or revisit anew! Inspired by ‘Writing Down Your Soul’ by Janet Conner

I’m very comfortable now, okay, I await and embrace synchronicity with childlike Christmas Eve anticipation because I know when I do my daily Journaling consistently, universe-sanctioned gifts (people, places and things) show up in my life.  A couple weeks ago, I asked my Journal what other book I needed to complete a $25 Amazon gift card order I was fulfilling and TA DA! Janet Conner’s book, “Writing Down Your Soul” appeared on the ‘Amazon recommends’ screen.

Don’t you just love it when you see your thoughts, feelings and musings validated in print?  As Janet states, “There are no accidents. Only divine appointments.”

I’ve now completed the first week of the 30 day Neural Pathway Creation program Janet presents where I’ve returned to my Morning Pages routine and added ritual to my daily journaling practice.  My Journal’s informed me that her name is “Dearest Diary.” I do this Journaling after I’ve showered but before I turn on the computer.  I light a candle, (which reminds me I need to shop Yankee Candle for some new scents), center myself, take some meaningful breaths and take off…. This book has reminded me of the importance of ritual; the sacredness of my Journaling space. And one of our Personal Journaling Stories is about that holy home.

Morsels of wisdom come fast and furious these days. While doing my soul journaling a couple mornings ago, a new name for me showed up: 'I am a Writer. That’s what I do.'
