Journaling Therapy Tips #191 - Stop Shoulding Yourself

Open your Journal. On the left side page, (use only 1 page) title it 'SHOULDS" and make a list of all the "Shoulds" you're still carrying around with you. Then on the right hand page, (again use only 1 page) title it "WANTS" and one at a time, convert the "SHOULDS" into "WANTS." If you can't convert it, maybe it's time to just let that one go! Bookmark these pages so you can readily access this exercise for when the Shoulds come marching in.
